Never Miss an IFTA Deadline or Pay a Penalty Again

Quarterly fuel tax filing done right, on time, every time—so you avoid audits, interest, and fines while keeping your trucks moving.

⛽ The Fuel Tax System Explained

If you drive a truck over 26,000 lbs in more than one state or province, you deal with IFTA. It's a system that saves you from buying separate fuel permits for every single state.

What IFTA Does

Instead of dealing with 10 different states, you just get one IFTA license from your home state. You then file one quarterly tax report with them, and they handle sending the correct money to all the states you drove in.

What You Must Do Every Quarter

Track Everything

For every truck, you must keep perfect records of:

  • Miles driven in each state (best tracked by GPS/ELD).
  • Every gallon of fuel purchased, and where you bought it (keep all receipts!).

File Your Quarterly Return

Four times a year (due the last day of April, July, October, and January), you use your mileage and fuel records to calculate if you owe more fuel tax or get a refund. You must file even if you didn't run.

Keep Records for 4 Years

Store all your logs and receipts safely. You can be audited.
